Good news, my computer is (hopefully) fixed and back in Tanzania! The bad news is it is in Moshi, which is a 2 day trip from my whereabouts. No worries, operation save Mac is still in full swing. If this computer actually makes it to me again it will be a miracle.
I am going to not talk about my vacation because it was awhile ago and too hard to reproduce in writing (at the moment). It was fun, and another day I may tell you about it. Currently I am in Iringa where delivery pizza, soft serve ice cream, and warm showers are all in abundance. Life is good. I just finished community theatre training. In community theatre, groups put on performances about tabu subjects like HIV/AIDS, peer pressure, etc…as a means to educate. During the last week, participating volunteers and a counterpart from their village created 2 dances and two plays to perform to an all girls school here in Iringa. Naturally, I was apart of the dance performances (which should come as no surprise to those who have seen my mad skills on the dance floor…ha. Just kidding.)
This was really fun. Yesterday we had our performance. Everything went well, and here are some pictures:
